# Sync modes

> Full Table and Incremental sync behavior in the current MantrixFlow app.

MantrixFlow supports two sync modes in the live pipeline builder.

## Full Table

Use `FULL_TABLE` for the first validation run or for manual refreshes.

Full Table runs are manual in the current app. The Scheduling tab is disabled while a destination is in Full Table mode.

## Incremental

Use `INCREMENTAL` when the source table has a stable cursor column, such as `updated_at`, `created_at`, or a monotonic id.

Incremental runs store checkpoint state after each successful run and use that state on the next run.

## Scheduling

Scheduling is available only for Incremental destinations. Switch the destination to Incremental, enter the replication key, save, run manually once, and then add a schedule.

## Write behavior

Sync mode and write behavior are separate. The live write mode is **Upsert**.
